|小箱紫檀制，可见致密的牛毛纹理，色泽沉穆，器型典雅美观。通体素雅无雕工，唯以铜活装饰。盖顶四角镶钉云纹饰件，墙四角包以铜条，面莲瓣形面叶，云头形拍子，立墙四角以铜叶包裹，起到装饰兼加固的双重作用。其用途灵活，可储存笔墨印章等小件文玩。工艺考究而精湛。两侧安弧形小提环，便于搬移，可谓材美工良。
