|以红木为材，圆雕弥勒坐像。弥勒宽衣广袖，右手持如意，袒胸露腹，五官刻画传神生动。同类作品可参靠《故宫竹木牙角图典》中见录一竹根雕罗汉“……半跏跌坐，左臂撑持，袈裟自然滑落，坦露肩膀，右手拈念珠搭于膝头……利用材质肌理表现人物头顶发根……脚趾微微上翘等细节，都极具匠心”。上海博物馆编《竹镂文心：竹刻珍品特集》所录竹根雕五子戏弥勒之弥勒亦与此件颇有类似。此件弥勒坐像虽无款识，然节理匀整，材质上乘，雕琢传神写照，意趣横生，不失为早清代木雕之巧作。
