Victorian Travelling Desk & Necessities Box, the rare outside wood inlaid with silver wire work and mother-of-pearl, the inside with bottles and boxes with engraved silver tops, red silk velvet, red Moroccan leather and fitted with a spring-operated drawer to the side, lock with keys. Small pieces of inlay missing and a section of veneer missing at front bottom edge, some shrinkage, slight warping, one bottle broken, one glass box broken. Height of box 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm.) X width 11 3/4 inches (30.5 cm.) X depth 8 3/4 inches (22.5 cm.).
