The ornamental vase was made into the shape of a purse or sachet with the lobed body rising from a short spreading foot to a waisted neck with everted rim. It was painted outside with various flowers and butterflies. These flowers have always been an important source of indigenous spices in ancient China. The shape of this vase is designed to match the theme. The bottom of the vase glazed in turquoise color and inscribed with six-character Qianlong mark. The overall painting of the bottle is revealing a dense layout and the shape is very unique. It is a rare treasure that was sold by an antique dealer in Los Angeles Chinatown for about $5,000 around 1980. 12 inch H, 6 inch W
