This product has a small mouth, slightly slender neck, bulging shoulders, conical body. It’s a typical shape of Lai Fu Zun. Its beautiful shape and unique patterns are very valuable. It was more commonly seen with Qing Dynasty Kangxi period copper red porcelains, or dark red glazed porcelains. This piece of Lai Fu Zun with Tai Chi and ‘Eight Trigrams’ patterns was made using two firing methods, which is extremely rare. The whole body is covered with white glaze. Three chord lines are projected at the neck and shoulders. The shoulders are painted with ‘Eight Trigrams’ patterns in cobalt blue color. Surrounding by ‘Eight Trigrams’ implies that all things are connected in the nature. The lower part of the body is painted with Tai Chi yin and yang figures. Waving ocean is painted in copper red near the foot. The circular foot is slightly concave and inscribed with six-character ‘Kangxi’ mark. 7.5 inch H, 2.73 inch W
