Multi-colored enamels in Wucai palette over the glaze China, early 17th century The exterior of this oviform vase shows Buddhist canopies and banners, hand painted in traditional Wucai palette enamels. Underglaze blue circles as well as overglaze ornamental and floral borders round off the classic appearance of this vessel. The base is unglazed.
