Bronze China, 17th / 18th century This heavily cast bronze bombé censer shows a compressed globular body rising from three short conical legs to an everted rim. It is set at the shoulder with an elegant pair of lug handles. The base bears an apocryphal Xuande mark, masterly cast in high relief inside a rectangular cartouche.
