|唐宋饮茶风盛，宋代尤以点茶、斗茶为尚，且茶色尚白，以黑釉茶具斗茶最适，其中建窑产品最负盛名，与之相配的盏托多为光素漆盏，至元明时期，盏托出现了螺钿、剔红等工艺，而此时流入日本的盏托常在光素漆面上罩金漆，制成天目形式，大都会博物馆藏一件日本室町时代（15-16世纪）罩金漆盏托，与拍品极为相似，可作参考。|参阅：East Asian Lacquer The Florence and Herbert Irving Collection，1991，P181.
