|乾隆皇帝在其为所藏古玉的注释中称玉琮为“辋头”，清宫亦有旧藏，乾隆皇帝好古，每得之，金锡玉匮，甚是珍爱，也令造办处制作仿器用以陈设。此件琮在仿古基础上又有创新，外形取圆，器壁上下留边，内减地浅浮雕仿古的兽面纹饰，下配木座。
