掌握乾坤-鸿禧美术馆旧藏烟壶大口，直径，扁圆腹，下收。通身以宝石蓝料制作，通体宝蓝色透明玻璃，质地通透，莹洁晶光，上洒金星，仿佛夜空繁星点点，清幽隽秀，色泽深邃高雅，颇有意境。金星玻璃产于欧洲，法国传教士、玻璃技师纪文曾在内廷玻璃厂受命烧造此种玻璃。乾隆皇帝非常喜爱金星玻璃，在其影响下，陆续仿制烧造了金星多彩玻璃及仿青金石玻璃，此件即为此类。金星玻璃器的工艺复杂，宫中也不常制作，较为少见。参考：与《中国鼻烟壶珍藏》中所载仿青金石鼻烟壶形制相似(参见《中国鼻烟壶珍藏》，三联书店(香港)有限公司、台港文化事业有限公司联合出版，1992年，页56，编号28)。
