大小烟壶体量相差悬殊，用料均为和田白玉籽料，为白玉中的顶级材质，润泽光洁，洁白无瑕。大壶堂大，满手抓握，应是用于存放鼻烟之用，小壶身材娇小，便于日常随身携带。均配高顶珊瑚盖，大者下承金圈底。两件烟壶也因选材绝妙而不做任何装饰，光素无暇，衬托用料之上乘。选材、制形，均好似成对而出，更为难得，属收藏佳品。年代判断，应为道光年间的之美器。
