本件以冰糖玛瑙为材，立体圆雕一童子。童子头顶桃形发髻，而其他光素。圆脸笑意盈盈，身着长衫，衣纹皱着自然下垂。背部背着衣服，以黑褐色的俏色巧作衣裳。取意“辈辈有福”。该件所刻画的童子形象，五官表现简单，以少量的短弧线表示衣纹。衣、裤、马甲等装束在同类作品中多有出现。唐代时，器物中已有荷莲童子图案，宋以后，这类玉雕童子日多，作品与贵子有关，寓意子孙满堂，寓意吉祥。
