此炉平口起线，直立略有外撇。口边及颈饰鎏金。整器深沉稳健，掐丝填各色珐琅彩，主题纹饰为缠枝花卉纹，古典含委婉之势，掐丝工艺多而不乱，细腻流畅，有清丽脱俗并俱之致，此器做工精细，颇显富贵之气，陈设于案头几旁，顿生几分古意。此器胎体厚重，形制规整，纹饰刻画精细，系仿照周代青铜礼器簠制作而成，并被作为薰炉使用，是明代中期仿古铜器中较为精美的一件。
