该件玉佩所选玉质温润洁白，凝结无暇。花萼相连，两朵盛开荷花昂首向上，花瓣皆作品字形如意云头状素。该器造型浑厚，雕工简练粗放，磨工极佳，镂空处亦平滑无琢痕。背部作四个象鼻孔，便于镶嵌佩戴。题材和做工都具有较为典型的金代风格，但玉质用料上乘，顶部稍有俏色，刻画为荷花顶部的花瓣绽放，仿若金色阳光洒在一池莲花之上。整器构思巧妙，工艺细腻，雕刻一丝不苟，玉料白润，在金代玉器堪为佳作。
