出版：CHINESE JADE， Pacific Asia Museum，页81， No.184。 |来源：|1.美国加州亚太博物馆；|2.Henry N. Foster 夫妇私藏。||笔舔玉制桃形，表面雕刻浅浮雕桃子枝叶，栩栩如生。现存最早的笔舔是南宋哥窑荷叶形笔舔，到了明代，笔舔的地位得到了空前的提升，文学家屠隆在其《考盘余事》中收录文房器具四十余种，笔舔位列第八。到清乾隆时期，笔舔被列为文具“小九件”之一。明清时代笔舔多是片叶造型的小浅碟，故宫珍藏的文物中，叶式笔洗和叶式笔舔均有一定规模。
