|白玉质地莹润细腻，洁白无瑕。圆雕童子左腿跪地，右腿屈膝，持一莲花于右肩。莲叶翻转，莲花盛开，栩栩如生，寓意连生贵子。 据资料记载，持莲童子是佛祖释迦摩尼的儿子磨合罗（梵文Mahorage的音译，也称摩候罗、磨喝乐）的化身，天资聪颖，15岁出家，在佛的十大弟子中排行第一。因此磨合罗的形象常被民间借用，与中国“宜男”观念巧妙结合在一起，满足人们祈求多子多福的良好祝愿。
