|新疆和田籽料，油润细腻。整件拍品雕刻“魁星点斗”这一传统吉祥题材，但见魁星着丑陋面具，左手捧墨，右手持笔，一角站鳌头、一脚向上后踢的形象，取“魁星点斗、独占鳌头”的祥瑞。魁星原指北斗星，《史记》曰：“魁，斗第一星也。”“魁”也为第一的意思，“魁星点斗，独占鳌头”是旧时对高中科举状元的美称。魁星作为科举考试第一的神灵，被人们尊称为文运之神，“魁星点斗”也由此应运而生。||备注：带座
