钤印：李宗仁印|款识：孝威先生惠存，三十七年四月。 |注：附信封，上书：上海《天文台周刊》陈孝威先生。成贤街如意里五号林公馆转。||简介：李宗仁致陈孝威照片一张，李宗仁（1891—1969），字德邻。广西桂林临桂区人。中国国民革命军陆军一级上将，中国国民党内“桂系”首领，曾任中华民国首任副总统、代总统。他是北伐战争中有着重要影响的一位人物，北伐前致力两广统一，奠定北伐的基础，促成北伐。1948年国民党行宪，当选副总统。蒋介石下野后，一度任代总统，欲以和谈挽救国民政府未果。之后出走美国，于1965年7月经瑞士、中东回到北京，受到毛泽东及其他中共领导人欢迎。
