题记：华衣展开盛装舞，巨喙衔来长寿丹。今日朱鸟胜大鸟，扶摇可上九重天。初观此砖，第一印象以为鹏鸟，似有扶摇直上九天之感。然此非大鹏，而为朱雀，汉人喜爱之瑞鸟。此朱雀纹特别之处在于气势恢弘，强大尾羽及双翅，精雕细刻，双足及喙夸张放大，显露出勃勃生机。画面虽繁，并不散乱，刻画虽大胆，却并无怪异之处，虽为匠人之作，却多大师风范。今人从艺，应多借鉴。 |镜心1幅|当代拓本|提要：此砖西安北郊汉城遗址所出，其正、侧两面皆为双朱雀纹。
