|砚侧阳文：天纪二年歳在戊；其砚背刻铭：志于道，丁茂鲁题|提要：考：天纪即公元278年乃三国东吴末帝孙皓之年号，共计4年。秋七月，孙皓册立成纪王、宣威王等十一位王，每位王授予兵卒三千，大赦全国。|据载，西泠印社创始人吴昌硕也藏有天纪古砖砚，其砚铭文：天纪残砖砚，古泥弟鉴之。缶记。后吴昌硕赠与弟子赵古泥。赵古泥，字石农，号慧僧。后来因非常喜爱封泥而改号“古泥”。由于古泥对吴昌硕的崇拜，名其室曰“拜缶庐”。|砚砖质细密，易于发墨，砚面浅开砚堂，其随形砚池，起步周精斫荷叶为饰，沉稳厚重，气势宏伟，方正有度，做工规整，简洁干练，古朴拙纳，世守良田也。|说明：附一朱一墨拓片。
