|此笔筒黄花梨木制成，采用一段整木挖成，体积颇大，敦厚大气。笔筒敞口、圆腹、平足，造型古朴端庄，雕凿细腻，气韵生动，包浆厚重，皮壳明亮，色如蒸栗，纹理或隐或现，如行云流水，大气磅礡，自成高格。筒身刻铁拐李人物形象，铁拐李束箍毛发蟠结成卷，面部刻划精准细腻，形象生动。手拄拐杖，跣足，体现出不拘小节、放浪形骸的个性。笔筒雕刻运刀如笔，纹饰流畅自然，十分难得。
