|这件手取形铁壶肌理质感极佳，极粗糙中蕴含极细腻。老铁多疏松，加上岁月之功，抚之则柔和而温润，造型洗炼，粗旷质朴。壶身微观如同致密的麻坑一般，略似网状或海绵状小孔组成，其色偏黑。壶钮作花钮状，口沿外饰回纹一周，腹部饰苇溪泛舟捕鱼图，老者身穿蓑笠，乘一扁舟，撒网捕鱼的情景，画面中人物刻画清晰生动，极为传神。观此壶，尤悟日本茶道所体现的朴素自然之美。
