八大法行是寧瑪派修習生起次第八種法行所依主要本尊，前五者為文殊身、蓮花語、真實意、甘露功德和橛事業，稱出世五法行，後三者為召遣非人、猛咒詛詈和供贊世神，稱世間三法行。|造像表現的即是八大法行其中之一。主尊為三頭六臂憤怒形象。三頭皆戴骷髏冠，三目圓鼓，呲牙咧嘴，六臂中主二臂擁抱明妃，右手托嘎巴拉碗，左手原持金剛鉞刀；其餘右上手持三叉戟，下手持金剛索，左上手持金剛鈴，下手法器已失。整體工藝精細，形像威猛生動，極具藝術張力。
