A finely-decorated Japanese cloisonné "Butterflies" vase Meiji period, late 19th/early 20th century Of tapered globular form with spreading neck and slightly flared foot, with butterflies executed in fine tapered silver wire cloisons, eleborate scroll and chrysanthemum neck, on midnight blue ground.
