签名：尔纯 |罗尔纯 Luo Erchun|罗尔纯（1930-2015）湖南人，别名罗存。1951年毕业于苏州美术专业学校，师从颜文梁，这个时期的欧洲古典学院派教育给罗尔纯打下了深厚的美术基础。1964年任中央美术学院油画系副教授、教授。1978年以后，乡土题材的绘画成为罗尔纯艺术的鲜明特色之一。1988年初，美国纽约著名收藏家赫夫纳看到罗尔纯的油画《望》和《凤凰古城》之后，立刻邀请罗尔纯赴纽约参加纽约“中国现代油画展”。 1992年后享有法国艺术居留权，常往返于中国、欧洲之间。
