湛式之炉说明：马槽炉为方正耿直之器，一般铜炉均取「天圆」，唯马槽炉则依「地方」，恰为铜炉一族添了阴阳平衡。此件马槽炉端正小巧，起线利落流畅，长方口，口大底小，斜壁，双耳方折，耳廓耳垂劲挺。底款「湛氏之炉」四字篆书，字体方正，用笔刚柔并济，舒展流畅。原铜包浆，天然腊茶色皮。马槽炉之形、色、款、质、工艺、样样上品，是文房案头小型铜炉可赏可玩的雅物。
