王勃《滕王阁序》：「闾阎铺地，钟鸣鼎食之家」。鼎无疑是商周宗法等级制度的核心。此鼎球形深腹，底部曲率较小，近平；双立耳，下承三蹄足，稳重有力，造型浑厚；其整体纹饰粗犷，以腹部一周凸弦纹为分界，上为窃曲纹，下饰波曲纹，是西周中晚期青铜鼎的常见样式。整器不仅土沁厚重，而且锈色斑驳，绿色青翠，黑者如炭，底色偶现古铜本色，尽显苍古气韵。来源：王季迁旧藏
