平盖折肩壶式流行于清代中晚期。拍品壶身作上侈下敛的折肩桶形，短颈平盖，壶钮扁圆，管状直壶流挺拔有力，乃点睛之笔，壶把内平外圆，便于使用。造型匀整秀雅，泥质精纯润泽，宝光内敛。
