Chinese Dark Yixing Steam Pot Inlaid to cover and sides with Light Clay over an incised design of Orchids and Calligraphy and polished; inside the base clay rises to a center steam spout for cooking; the sides with applied Lion Head Handles; impressed mark to base. Cover cracked and re-stuck; hairlines and flakes to light clay decoration to outside not visible inside. Height 7 inches (17.8 cm.) X diameter at mouth 8 1/2 inches (21.5 cm.).
