窑变釉源于宋代钧釉，是利用多种不同的色彩施于一器，在高温下自然流淌，相互交融，形成犹如火焰般的色彩斑斓。此光绪官窑窑变釉贯耳瓶仿古代投壶式样，也称为杏圆瓶，创制于雍正乾隆时期，流行于嘉道之世，为清代传统典型官窑器。本瓶釉质莹润，釉汁流动，异彩纷呈。
