Painting allegedly by Jean Baptiste Belin (Caen 1653-Paris 1715), a scholar of Monnoyer and the husband of his daughter. His works are mainly compositions of still life of flowers, commissioned by private individuals for the buildings of the wealthy people of Paris of the time. His paintings are shown in the Louvre and in many French museums.
