The circular domed cover carved with a central stylized flowerhead, surrounded by five ruyi heads, all within ten further ruyi heads bordering the rim, the box similarly carved with ten ruyi heads, all carved through dark brownish-black lacquer alternating with two red layers, the interior and base lacquered dark reddish-brown. 3" diameter.
