红釉是明宣德时期景德镇创烧的著名铜红釉品种，因霁红器作祭祀郊坛之用，故名。釉色似初凝的鸡血，深沉安定，莹润均匀，釉中无龟裂纹理。祭红釉料配制时，往往加入黄金、珊瑚、玛瑙、玉石等珍贵之物，不惜工本，且烧制不易控制，因而十分名贵，明中晚期曾一度失传，至清代才恢复烧造，成为清官窑传统品种，色泽更加艳丽多样。此瓶胎薄体轻，撇口细颈，削肩，圈足，底心以青花书「大清乾隆年制」三行六字篆书款；其外壁釉面发色深沉，起细微橘皮纹，内壁施白釉。瓶体匀称，弧线优美，发色均匀纯正，极为难得。参阅：《宫廷珍藏－中国清代官窑瓷器》，上海文化出版社，2003年，页346
