Carved Tiger Maple Scroll-top Desk/Bookcase, probably Massachusetts, c. 1750-60, the upper section with cornice centering a carved finial, above two paneled doors opening to a shell-carved interior of compartments, some with moveable dividers, set into lower slant-lid section with interior with shell-carved prospect door flanked by fluted document drawers, above four thumb-molded graduated drawers and bracket feet, ht. 91, wd. 37 3/4, dp. 20 1/2 in.
