款识：大明宣德年制 铜炉精铜为材，撇口深腹，颈附天鸡双耳，器身蜡茶皮色，款色俱佳。局部点缀金彩为饰，与皮壳之古韵色泽相得益彰。天鸡是古代传说中之神鸟，《宣炉小志》载：“天鸡即火鸡也，能吞火，会意象形故以铸炉。”以天鸡装饰铜炉有向神威表示敬意及祈求平安之意，是明清铜炉中常见的装饰手法。来源：国营文物商店旧藏重:576.5g 款识：大明宣德年制
