Raised on a rectangular cloisonne enamel stand surmounted with an arch-shaped frame with gilt pierced dragon finial, below it hanging a stylized 'pebble-form' white jade elephant standing foursquare with its trunk curling up to left hind leg between projecting tusks, with naturalistic markings to the feet,ears and tail and accented with incised wrinkles overall, the stone of even white tone with irregular patches of russet inclusion. Qing Dynasty period.
