Of slender pear-shaped form, the protruding center rising from a splayed foot to a thin everted rim, supported on a base carved scrolled sprigs, the exterior deftly carved in openwork with high-relief phoenix perched on sprigs base, above its back standing a scaly dragon climbing across the vase top body and resting its head close to the waisted neck, the stone of white tone mottled with patches of red russet inclusion, with fitted wood stand.
