石湾窑陶塑刘海半跏趺坐于蟾蜍之上。塑像取材于民间故事“刘海戏金蟾”。刘海少年时上山打柴，看见路旁一只三足蟾蜍受伤，便赶快上前为之包扎伤口，蟾变成了美丽的姑娘，能口吐金钱和元宝，并与刘海成婚生子。故刘海戏金蟾在民间有吸财镇宅辟邪之说。
