明式黄花梨镜台上层边框内为支架铜镜的背板，可平放，或可支起成斜面以作支撑铜镜之用。背板用攒框造成，分界成三层八格。下层正中一格安荷叶式托，可上下移动，以备支架不同大小的铜镜。中层方格饰四簇云纹，中心透空，其余各格装板雕螭纹。台座中设抽屉三具，四足内翻马蹄，造型低扁。木工雕刻处处精到，木材优良，每块装板均有深色花纹，为明式家具精品。参阅：1.王世襄《明式家具珍赏》，P162。2.上海博物馆馆藏品，明代黄花梨折叠式镜台 附：木材国检证书
