作品以老性老挝石圆雕而成，石色灰白，材质醇厚温和，莹润可爱。罗汉细眉垂目，宽鼻大耳，神色怡然，似已进入无我之境。作者以沉稳的手法细细刻画出罗汉的须发眉目，刻工细致，栩栩如生。罗汉裸足半跏趺坐于云端，一手持经卷，一手扶瑞兽，衣衫线条柔顺自然，颇为逼真。此像巧妙地以红色系老挝石巧作圆台，刻如意云纹于其上，与灰白色的罗汉像形成鲜明对比，精巧之极。
兰礼忠，1979年出生，福建罗源人。自幼喜爱艺术。早期进入福建省艺术馆学习雕塑，先师从张文霞，后转为寿山石雕，拜工艺美术大师林飞为师，擅长人物高浮雕，圆雕。
