黄玉质，圆雕线刻而成。童子五官表现简单传神，以少量的短弧线表示衣纹。着细袖衫、肥裤，外罩一长马甲，手执莲花一枝，花朵置于背部。衣、裤、马甲等装束在同类作品中多有出现。唐代时，器物中已有荷莲童子图案，宋以后，这类玉雕童子日多，作品有“连生贵子”的含义，寓意吉祥。
