Of ding-form, the deep bowl with an everted rim and upright handles, all supported on three slender cylindrical legs, the exterior carved with LANCA characters, the domed cover well cast in openwork with a central head surrounded by foliate scrolls, the base inscribed with Xuande mark within a recessed rectangle, the stand in the dorm of a mallow flower with overlapping petals rising from three short feet.
