Of eight lobed form, the box cover finely carved through the layers to depict scenes of landscape and figures in each lobe surrounding the central panel of sea waves, the sides carved with flowers, base painted in black lacquer and carved with six character Qianlong mark in gilt. 盒八瓣梅花式，通體髹朱漆，盒蓋頂部內雕錦紋為地，其上軋雕山水人物。山石俊俏挺拔，修竹芭蕉，迎風款擺，遠岸崇山，漸遠漸深，整體構圖靈動，虛實相映，儼然一幅立體的山水畫。整器髹漆厚重，漆色典雅明豔，雕刻工藝精湛，刀法流暢，層次豐富，邊角圓潤，意境清遠。
