Delicately executed in filigree, the ruyi scepter head embellished with a large tourmaline in the manner of peach flanked by five bats modelled by kingfisher feather, the arched handle further inlaid with three different types of gems spaced by kingfisher feather 'shou' character, all reserved on elaborate gilt wire ground. Qing Dynasty period.
