款识：虞元仁兄大人清鉴，钝叔弟杨锐。|钤印：杨锐印信（白）、叔峤（朱）|释文：自喜轩窗无俗韵，亦知草木有真香。|简介：杨锐，字叔峤，四川绵竹人，戊戌六君子之一。1889年（光绪十五年）授内阁中书，后晋为侍读。曾入张之洞幕府，在北京任职期间经常写信向张之洞密报朝中动态。中日甲午战争时，主张集精兵猛将大举北援，保卫津沽。1895年参与发起强学会。
