A silver four-piece tea set, by Edward & John Barnard, London, 1862, 1864 and 1866, comprising: a teapot, a coffee pot, a sugar basin, and a cream jug, each decorated with a pine cone finial and embossed flowerheads on a trellis ground, the handles with ivory insulators, initialled and marked with retailer's name 'Angell & Browne, 10 Strand, London', coffee pot 27cm high, total weight 73ozt (4) Condition report: Both teapot and coffee pots have had handles reset as the pins are prominent and rough. The insulators are cracked. Otherwise appears to be in good condition.
