瓷大清乾隆年制全品此种装饰图案为乾隆时期开始出现，嘉道二朝最为流行。作品胎质莹洁，釉面光泽柔和。盘心精心绘制鹌鹑、菊花、山石、草木等图案；秋菊数丛依洞石之旁，横倚而出，吐萼含苞，铺陈出暗香浮动之意境；两只鹌鹑分别栖息于洞石之上，栩栩如生，身旁伴以野菊数朵，与秋菊上下辉映，一派祥和。整体构图简洁清雅，笔法精细纤巧。因“鹌”与“安”，“菊”与“居”，“落叶”与“乐业”谐音，鹌鹑秋菊共同构成“安居乐业，岁岁平安”，以此寓安于居，乐于业之意。
