A polychrome porcelain sculpture of Ma Zu. Marked with characters. China, 20th century. With certificate. Provenance: bought in 1991.
Artist: He De Ming (1959 – Now). From 1980 to 1983 He De Ming studied at Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute. Member of China Arts and Crafts Association. Since 1976, he studied ceramic sculpture art with his father “He Shui Gen” (a famous Chinese sculpture Master). Nowadays he has won many international and national awards and became the master of the second generation of porcelain sculptures of new China, a contemporary ceramic sculpture celebrity.
