此盘圆形敞口，浅弧腹，圈足，通体施祭红釉，素面无纹饰。祭红釉是始创于明永乐、宣德年间的高温铜红釉品种，因古时皇室常以它作祭器，故称“祭红”，又名“霁红”。清朝自康熙始至光绪朝传统官窑品种。
