西周风格。玉饰为凤鸟形象，呈长方片状。双面雕工，纹饰相同。采用斜刀及阴刻线技法雕琢凤鸟纹，凤鸟圆眼，勾喙，线条流畅，具有西周凤鸟纹的典型特征。此玉凤形制特殊，边缘有出戟，以表现凤鸟各个肢体部位，系西周时特有的玉雕艺术的表现方法，实为难得。玉凤头部边缘有对穿孔，可穿系佩戴。
